After graduating from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, I immediately began working as a J2EE developer with Pillar Technology Group, LLC. Over the last 4 years I’ve worked on several different sub-projects within a SOA initiative for a Fortune 1000 company. Practicing a blend of Agile methodologies, I’ve worked with a technology stack including Spring (with SWF, MVC), Hibernate, JMS, EJB, JSP, and Web Services. Most of the efforts have revolved around internal-usage web applications that integrate with distributed legacy data sources. In addition, we have written and exposed SOA services via SOAP for usage by other clients in the enterprise. Most recently, I've been doing iPhone development work. If I’m not at work, I’m climbing at Red River Gorge, KY.
