At Pillar, we manage change by expecting it.  It’s a known fact that the earlier you find a defect, the less time and the less money it takes to fix.  So we keep the communication channels between IT and business open.  We deliver code to business decision makers on a weekly basis, capturing changes and making improvements along the way.

By building these ‘user acceptance tests’ into the project schedule, we give businesses a highly informative and useful perspective on a project’s status.  They can see how much of a project has been completed and verified, what percentage of the project is currently in progress and how much work remains.
